Quick E3 Highlights and Impressions

E3 Logo

Microsoft - Halo 4, Tons of Kinect stuff, Smart Glass (which does look pretty amazing), new sequals (Gears of War, Forza, Resident Evil, Call of Duty), and a reboot of Tomb Raider.  Most exciting thing?  Xbox is getting a browser… and it Internet Explorer?  I realize its Microsoft, but how are we supposed to get excited about IE and a 20 minute presentation on Bing?

EA - Need for Speed, Dead Space 3, EA apparently now has the UFC license, Sim City reboot (looked really good), Battelfield 3 Premium (looks like a rip-off), Crysis 3, and new Metal of Honor Gameplay.  Honestly, I saw nothing that excited me.

Ubisoft- Dance 4, Flo Rida is still working, Far Cry 3 Gameplay (Tigers?), New Splinter Cell, Avengers Planet Earth (please dont suck, please dont suck…), Rayman, Zombi U for the Wii U, and then they brought out the big gun, Assassin’s Creed 3, and then a game called WATCH_DOGS which looks really good.

Sony- PS 3 and PS Vita cross platform collaboration (snooze), then tons of new exclusive titles - Beyond: Two Souls (will motion capture of Ellen Page), Playstion All Star Battle Royale (finally a Smash Bros for the PS3, first characters Drake and Big Daddy), Playstaion Plus will get more free stuff, Call of Duty for Vita, AC 3 bundle, Wonderbook (PS Eye augmented reality story book), New God of War footage (Elephant Brain?!), and the highlight of E3, for me anyway, Last of Us gameplay.  Last of Us maybe the most anticipated game for me in a long time.

I think I got most of the good stuff, if you think that I missed something important, let me know here or @Misguidedgeek.
