Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself, My Name is GEEK!
Hey folks, if you have checked out the site recently you may have noticed that I have finally gotten around to launching the redesigned version of the site (YEAH!). Im really excited about all the new changes, I think not only does it make the site look more legit, now its just easier to use. The vast majority of the redesign is self explanatory, but I do want to take a sec to point out some of my favorite features.
The home screen is now equipped with a nice header which not only shows off the MG robot, but also displays a featured post slider. Here you will find the top posts for each week, easily accessible and front and center. The header also features a drop down menu on the far right:
This give you access to a few widgets to further connect with me, including the Twitter feed, and Instagram feed among others. Im still working on a tag cloud and blog roll, among others, so more updates are forth coming.
Once you get into a post, all the usual suspects are there, comments, sharing options, along with content, but they are much more intuitive and easier to find and use.
This is perhaps my favorite part, the new design is responsive, so it changes is you are using a smaller window, tablet, or in this case a cell phone browser.
