Will there be a Justice League Movie?
I go back and forth on this, if the heads over at DC/WB are able to get a spec of the grit and superb story telling from the Dark Knight Trilogy, hell even the last Superman movie (which I still think was pretty good) then I say lets get this thing rolling.
My fear is, that they reboot Batman poorly, Superman has a beard, Aquaman is… well in it, and they make it into a CGI fest ala Green Lantern. No one wants to see a cartoon space battle between Aquaman and Darkseid… how is Aquaman going to counter the eye blast, Space Dolphins?
The Justice League movie is definitely happening. Or at least it’s being talked about happening. It has been rumored that Ben Affleck would be directing the film, but he recently said that he is not. The latest rumors are that the brother sister duo that brought us The Matrix Trilogy and the big screen adaptation of V for Vendetta will be at the helm.
Other news regarding the film has indicated that WB does plan to reboot Batman at some point in the near future. I think that the JL movie will be the new Batman’s first appearance. Nolan’s Batman has no room in the Man of Steel’s world. I am just excited to see a roaster of the heroes that will be making an appearance in the film. It is tentatively scheduled to come out in 2015 and go head to head with the Avengers 2.
