Summer Reading List Update
Just finished a Feast for Crows, book four in George RR Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire series. With this book, I take my leave from Westeros, at least for a little while, due to these four 1000 page behemoths, I wasn’t able to put much of a dent in my reading list, and with classes starting back in less than two weeks, A Dance with Dragons will have to wait until my winter vacation.
I enjoy grad school, I love my program, respect my fellow students, and am inspired daily by the professors I get the opportunity to learn from, but the one thing I hate about going back is that I have to wait to read what I want to read until the seasonal breaks. Its impossible to keep up with a pleasure book when you are reading one or two history books a week. Anyway, Ive got a week and a half, maybe Ill try to squeeze in one more fun book?
